If you create an account or register for an event, you must provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. Additional event terms may apply at checkout or via contract.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent affiliation with Escom Events
- Scrape or harvest personal data from our sites or attendee tools unlawfully
- Attempt unauthorised access to systems, registration databases, or other users’ data
- Upload malware or disrupt site operations
- Use our marks or content to imply endorsement without written permission
- Offer “Escom attendee lists” or similar products for sale (we do not authorise this)
5. Intellectual property
Site design, text, graphics, logos, and brand names are owned by Escom Events or its licensors. You may view and share links for legitimate business purposes. Reproduction, scraping for commercial databases, or modification requires prior written consent.
Sponsor / speaker materials remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Third-party links & tools
We may link to third-party sites, maps, payment providers, or social platforms. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Sites and content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Escom disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Escom Events and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the sites. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to website use shall not exceed an amount to be confirmed by legal counsel.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Escom Events against claims arising from your misuse of the sites or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Event-specific terms
Conference tickets, sponsorship, exhibition, speaking, and bespoke-event agreements are governed by their own contracts / order forms. In case of conflict, those documents prevail for that commercial relationship.
11. Changes
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of changes, where permitted by law.
